As you may know, I'm running for the Comptche seat on the Mendocino Unified School District (MUSD) School Board. I do this because my children attend the Comptche School and the Mendocino Grammar school and I feel I can help the district negotiate the difficult times ahead. Board members have many duties, but among their most important is to listen to the residents, parents and especially the children of Mendocino County. As I do that in my campaign and on I plan on recording what I hear on this blog. In this way I hope we can all learn how to better help our children prepare for the future ahead.
